Once your Windfall account has been connected to KIT, you can start calling for information right in your account.
Windfall Sends Your Data Through
It may take a couple of weeks for Windfall data to begin populating in your KIT account as each data set is created uniquely for you, based on your Contact data.
Once the data begins to populate, you'll be able to view it on your Contacts profiles.
Click on Contacts in the sidebar > Click on the Contact that you would like to make a call for
Click on the Windfall tab
The following information will be populated in your KIT account by Windfall:
- Household Match
- Net Worth
- Philanthropic Giver
- Foundation Assocaition
- Foundation Officer
- Nonprofit Board Member
- SEC: Money in Motion
- Trust Assocation
- Small Business Owner
- Multi-Property Owner
- Recent Mortgage
- Political Donor
- Top Political Donor
- Boat Owner
- Plane Owner
- Luxury Car Owner
- Imported Car Owner
- Recent Mover
- Recently Divorced
- Recent Death in the Family
How to use this Data in KIT?
There are two ways that you can interact with WIndfall data in your KIT account.
I want to Wealth Screen a specific Contact
If you know the Contact that you would like to view data for, you can head straight to their profile and interact with the Windfall tab.
I want to locate a group of Contacts based on Wealth Screening Data
If you don't have a specific Contact in mind and would like to find one (or more) you can filter your Contacts by Windfall Data
In Contacts, click on Filters > Edit Filters
Click Add filter > Type Windfall into the search bar > Choose from the list of Windfall filters
You can filter your Contacts by each of these data points.
For example, you could Filter your Contacts by folks who have a Net Worth over 1 Million.
Combine this with KITs many other features and you can create extremely specific donor lists for your organization to reach out to during giving seasons.
