Overview
The Presentation Ready feature in the Reports Tool allows you to generate pre-designed reports that capture insights into your data and fundraising activity. These are one-click reports that can be reviewed, analyzed, and shared on the spot. The Presentation Ready tool includes the following report types:
- Fundraising Report - outlines your fundraising performance so that you can make informed decisions for the future. It allows you to you compare your current totals to your goals or nonprofit benchmarks, measure progress, plan for the future, and identify ways to engage your donors and build better relationships.
- Predictions Report - provides a better understanding of how Fundraising KIT generates predictions using your unique data, the importance of each prediction in supporting your fundraising success, and insights on how to utilize Fundraising KIT's tools to act on your fundraising predictions.
Creating a Presentation Ready Report
To create a Presentation Ready Report, head to the Reports Tool on the left-hand toolbar and click on the Presentation Ready tab. Click on the purple 'Create' report button where you will be prompted to choose a 'Fundraising Report' or a 'Predictions Report'.
Fundraising Report
If you select the Fundraising Report type, you will be prompted to fill out the following fields:
- The report title (name)
- File type (.odf or .doc)
- Whether you want the report to reflect the calendar year (Jan-Dec) or the fiscal year specified in your Organization Profile.
- How many years back you prefer the report to capture (1-5 years)
Report Contents
Below are the various sections you will find within your Presentation Ready fundraising report.
- Executive Overview of Giving History - this section provides an overview of your fundraising progress, year-over-year. It can display the fluctuations in your total revenue, and it can map the impact areas and campaigns that were at the core of your fundraising strategy.

Recurring Donors - this section compares the number of recurring versus single donations within the report timeframe as well as the average recurring gift size.

Gift Sizes - this section will provide a better understanding of the number of gifts your organization has received, the average amount of those gifts, and the number of donations received in relation to the gift size range.

Retention - this section provides insight into how many donors who started donating in a specific year continue to donate in the subsequent years.

Acquisition - this section provides insight into how many new donors you were able to acquire in the report time frame.
Predictions Report
If you select the Predictions Report type, you will be prompted to fill out the following fields:
- The report title (name)
- File type (.odf or .doc)
- Whether you want the report to reflect the calendar year (Jan-Dec) or the fiscal year specified in your Organization Profile.
- How many years back you prefer the report to capture (1-5 years)
Report Contents
Each prediction covered in the report will consist of the following sections.
- How does the prediction work? - describes the types of data the algorithms look at to generate each prediction.
- Why does the prediction matter? - looks at why each prediction is relevant to increasing your fundraising success.
- Top indicators used to generate this prediction - displays the top indicators in your data that we used to generate your predictions.
- Model Insights - looks at insights from the models that are used to make the predictions.
- How your organization is performing on each prediction - your organization's current standing in relation to this prediction.
- How to use KIT to target donors with this prediction -how to use each prediction to improve your fundraising success.
