When you start with KIT, one of the first tasks you complete is adding your organization's information to your Organization Profile. This section includes information such as your organization's contact information, benchmarks, donation and revenue goals, as well as social media preferences.
Where to Find Organization Settings
To access and edit your organization settings click your Organization Name in the top right of your KIT account> click Organization Settings from the drop-down > you will automatically be directed to your Organization Profile. Here you will see various sections related to your organization.
Organization Information
This section stores your organization's contact information as well as other important information that affects your account such as timezone, fiscal year, and currency. For accurate reporting, it is important to check that these fields are populated to reflect your organization's preferences.
Benchmark
Here you can store information about your organization's cause area and revenue. This information is used by KIT to compare your organization's contact and transaction KPIs to similar organizations to provide insight into how well your organization is performing.
Donor Sizes
Here you can specify categories of donors based on their donation summation. This will support KIT in populating various Prediction Insights and Filters such as 'Major Donor Potential' and 'Major Gift Amount'.
Donation Goals
Here you can specify your organization's monthly, quarterly, and yearly donation goals. These donation goals are used in KIT's Donations Forecasting tool.
Revenue Goals
Here you can specify your organization's monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue goals. These revenue goals are used in KIT's Donations Forecasting tool.
Social Links
Here you can add your organization's social links. This information is used for KITs Social Listening Report.
