Tip: Before inviting a new User, consider the permissions you would like to grant them in KIT.
Invite a New User
Before adding new users, make sure to check on the number of users you have available in your Fundrasing KIT account. You do this by navigating to Organization Settings > selecting the 'Account' tab > and viewing the 'Plan Information ' section.
If you need to purchase more user seats, click on the 'Purchase User Seats' button where you will be prompted to add more Users to your plan.
Once you are ready to add new Users, navigate to the 'Team' tab in Organization Settings and click 'Invite Member'
Enter the Email Address and Name of the new User, as well as their prescribed Permission Level in KIT.
Once you click Save, an email invitation will be sent to the user to join KIT.
Note: Once the invitation has been set, you will see 'Invitation' in the Type column of the team member. Upon accepting the invitation, this will update to 'User'.
Re-Send an Invitation to User
If you need to resend your invitation to a user, click on the circular symbol under actions to re-send the invitation link.
Accepting an Invitation to Join KIT
Step 1: If you receive an invitation from KIT to join an organization, click Accept Invitation to get started!
Step 2: Create your User account
Step 3: KIT will send you an email to verify your email address
Step 4: When you have received the email, click Verify My Email and you will be re-directed to the KIT Dashboard. Hooray! You are now an official KIT user.
Changing a User's Permission Level
Want to edit a User's Permission Level? Click Edit to the right of the User and select the appropriate permission level in the pop-up.
Removing a User in KIT
To remove access for a user, click the trash can to the right of the User's name.
Reactivating a Removed User in KIT
If you had previously removed a User and would like to add them back to the account, the removed User will have to re-activate their removed User account.
To reactivate a user account, you will need to:
- Send a new invitation to the user by following the steps in Invite a New User
- When the user receives the invitation, they will need to click 'Accept Invitation' in the email. They will be brought to a page where they can either 'Create a New Account' or 'Log In'. They will need to choose the Log In option.
- Here they can log in with their credentials from their previous User account and the account will be reactivated.
Important note: KIT remembers previously used e-mail addresses. Therefore, you cannot create a new User account for a KIT User that had existed in the past. Instead, you will need to Log In with your previous credentials or use a different e-mail address.
